Important Information Regarding EB-4 Visas
The State Department and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announce that all available Employment-Based Fourth Preference (EB-4) immigrant visas for fiscal year (FY) 2025 have been issued. This is due to annual limits set by the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), specifically INA 203(b)(4), which restricts EB-4 visas to 7.1 percent of the overall employment-based visa limit. Consequently, embassies and consulates cannot issue further EB-4 visas until the start of FY 2026 on October 1, 2025. At that time, visa issuance will resume for eligible applicants.
