Important Update for Following-to-Join Refugee Beneficiaries

The Department of State has resumed processing Following-to-Join beneficiary applications for relatives of refugees in the U.S., in accordance with the preliminary injunction in Pacito v. Trump. Those whose appointments were canceled will be contacted directly for rescheduling. Applications already interviewed will also continue to be processed. Beneficiaries must secure a sponsor to cover medical exams and travel to the United States.
