The U.S. Embassy in Riga, Latvia, was established in 1992, after the country regained its independence. Under the leadership of current Ambassador Christopher Robinson, the diplomatic mission focuses on strengthening bilateral relations between the United States and Latvia. The Embassy provides numerous services, including consular assistance to U.S. citizens and visa services to Latvian citizens and foreign nationals travelling to the United States.
